My body temperature seems to run too high. It fluctuates throughout the day of course, but still seems too high most of the time. In the evening my body temp is usualy around 99.5. Sometimes it creeps up to 99.6-99.7. I usualy feel okay, but sometimes feel flushed and tired. Ever once in a while people ask me if i feel okay, they say i look pale. My doc seems to think its okay, and has done routine blood work that comes back normal. Anyone have any ideas as too what this could be, or is it normal.

I don't know how anyone here could make a better call than your doctor.

Have you done any research at medical sites. It seems a flutuating body temp of less than one degree is not a big deal. That you feel flushed and tired could be totally unrelated.

Some foods make me flushed or feel like my temp. is rising. Sometimes I have blazing hot cheeks and ice cold hands. How messed up is that? Anyways, I would suggest looking for some sort of correlation between what you eat/drink and how you sleep compared with how you feel. See if you can find any patterns.

If that's how it has always been then it is "normal for you" and there is nothing wrong.

some people do run at degrees other than 98.6. alot of people when i take their temps they are 97's....97.2, 97.4...etc and i never bat an eyelash. so u sound very normal...(and patients love to ask, after i took their temp and told them the reading..."is that normal" "i thought 98.6 was normal" etc)
